Eleven Courses is pleased to introduce our cooking class divison, hosted by celebrated Chef Jim Benson at the K of C in Timonium, MD.* A true culinary artist, Jim Benson has appeared as guest chef to some of Baltimore’s most sought after restaurants, most notably, Italian haven Sotto Sopra. He also produces packed culinary shows at some of the North East’s hottest foodie events, like food and wine festival, Great Grapes, in MD and VA and the Beer, BBQ and Bacon Fest in Richmond.
Eleven Courses and Jim Benson invite you to participate in a highly interactive seminar style three-course cooking class. Choose between our New Age Italian or Classic French classes. Each class will take you on a fascinating culinary journey, exploring exquisite innovative cuisine and cutting edge techniques. Learn the cooking secrets of a pro and enjoy a stunning three course meal.
Carefully selected wine pairings available for all three-course cooking classes, $20.00 per person, please reserve in advance.
Each course reflects balance and layered flavors, playing homage to their founding region. In the New Age Italian class we will learn the time-honored tradition of creating Italian flatbread, the art of a perfect risotto and a modern twist on the classic cannoli. In the Classic French class we will explore contemporary takes on delicate French canapes, braising beef in a rich red wine sauce and creating a sweet and savory cheese course with a warm berry compote and caramelized nuts.

Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel up to a week before your class is scheduled, we will issue you credit for another class. A class may not be reschedule more than one time. If you cancel between one week and 72 hours before the class, we will issue you a credit for the class only if we are able to rebook your slot for the class. No credit will be issued if cancellation occurs less than 72 hours prior to the class.
We reserve the right to cancel any classes that do no attract sufficent enrollment, chef illness or inclement weather. We will call or email you to reschedule you for another class date.
